We are tired of his silly mistakes 😒💔

Rangers legend Ally McCoist has taken aim at two Manchester United players after the Red Devils sealed a 2-2 comeback draw against Everton on Saturday.

Ruben Amorim’s men returned to Premier League action on the weekend and the Red Devils visited Goodison Park to take on David Moyes’ resurgent Everton side.

Manchester United went into half-time 2-0 down after Beto opened the scoring for Everton in the first half before Abdoulaye Doucoure doubled their advantage.

However, Ruben Amorim’s side rallied back in the second half and United pulled one back through a Bruno Fernandes free-kick in the 72nd minute of the contest.

Only eight minutes later United found the all-important equaliser against David Moyes’ men after Manuel Ugarte drilled home a stunning left-footed strike.

United ensured they walked away with a crucial point from Goodison Park amid their current run of form in the 2024-25 Premier League season.

McCoist on two Man Utd stars
Manchester United remain in 15th place in the Premier League table and the Red Devils are now 13 points clear of the relegation zone after 26 matches played.

The Red Devils have only managed eight league wins and United are level with 16th-place West Ham and one point adrift from 14th-place Everton in the table.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Ally McCoist dropped his two cents on the performances of Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Goodison Park.

Casemiro started the match in the heart of midfield alongside Ugarte and United manager Ruben Amorim hooked off the former Real Madrid star in the 62nd minute.

Ugarte, on the other hand, saw out the full 90 minutes of the thrilling draw against Everton and netted the Red Devils’ crucial equaliser in the second half.

However, McCoist remains unconvinced on Ugarte and the Rangers legend claimed that he’s “not seeing it” with the 23-year-old Uruguayan defensive midfielder.

“The first thing you have to say is that Everton have been great,” he said, as per the Metro.

“But United have got to lift and start asking questions of opponents. You need to ask a question of the opposition back-four. They haven’t done that.

“I just think about the middle of the park, Casemiro has been slightly better but I look at Ugarte, I’m not seeing it with him at this moment in time.

“I’m really not seeing it. Those two aren’t really handling the intensity.”

Amorim on Man Utd problems vs Everton
Speaking after the Everton match, Amorim admitted that United deeply underwhelmed in the first half and only ‘recovered’ after the break.

“We managed to recover [in the] second half. But we didn’t exist in the first half, so the feeling is disappointed,” he said at his press conference.

“Not with the point, not with the recovery, but we need to play both halves to compete in the best way because at this moment we need to win.”
