United hope to land Gyokeres
While Viktor Gyokeres is believed to have a release clause at Sporting for around £85 million, but Manchester United hope to sign him for less.
They are aiming to land the Swedish international for £60m in the coming summer transfer window
The Mirror writes: “United are hopeful that they will be able to land Sporting’s star striker for closer to £60m, with the Portuguese champions already resigned to losing Gyokeres, who they snapped up from Coventry City for nothing 18 months ago.
“Intriguingly, another striker coveted by Manchester United, Harry Kane, has a release clause worth around £54m in his contract which could be triggered next January should United decide to change course for any reason.”
United keen on Flamengo defender
Flamengo right-back Wesley Franca is a target for Manchester United this summer.
The 21-year-old is valued at around £25 million, according to The Sun newspaper.
The outlet reports: “Manchester United are targeting a summer swoop for Flamengo star Wesley Franca, according to reports.
“The 21-year-old right-back has risen through the ranks at the Brazilian giants.
“Wesley was a near-ever present as Flamengo finished third in Brazil’s Serie A last season.
“The versatile defender is being watched by Red Devils scouts ahead of a potential £25 million move, according to reports in Brazil.
