Manchester United could allegedly be without the services of Noussair Mazraoui for Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Ipswich Town.

The Morocco international has been a vital player for the Red Devils this season following his arrival from Bayern Munich last summer, making 38 appearances in all competitions, including every Premier League match for the 20-time English champions

Mazraoui suffered a blow to his knee in the first half of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Everton in the Premier League, but he played on until the 70th minute, when Leny Yoro was introduced.

According to ESPN, Ruben Amorim’s side are sweating over the fitness of Mazraoui for Wednesday’s game against Ipswich, with the versatile defender regarded to be a major doubt.

The report claims that the 27-year-old will undergo tests on Monday to determine the extent of the damage, but it is certainly possible that he will be ruled out of the game against Kieran McKenna’s side at Old Trafford

Man United could be missing 10 players for Ipswich clash
Man United could be without the services of 10 first-team players against Ipswich; Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo are definitely missing for the Red Devils.

However, Tom Heaton, Altay Bayindir, Jonny Evans and Toby Collyer have not yet been ruled out of the match.

Mazraoui’s absence would open the door for Yoro to come into the XI alongside Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt as part of a back three, although the latter’s performance against Everton has been heavily criticised.

Ayden Heaven could therefore potentially be an option for the Red Devils against Ipswich, with the January signing from Arsenal in the first-team picture since moving to Old Trafford.

Chido Obi, 17, has featured off the bench in Man United’s last two Premier League matches, meanwhile, and the forward is again expected to be involved in the clash with the Tractor Boys.
