Arsenal predicted XI vs Bournemouth as Mikel Arteta makes changes amid injury woes
Arsenal face a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday with injury concerns to Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and more.
Arsenal come back off the international break with a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday evening. They will look to make it consecutive wins in the Premier League as they aim to overtake Liverpool at the top of the table.
However, the break hasn’t provided the best news for the Gunners as several players have suffered injury problems placing them in doubt for Saturday’s game. Bukayo Saka missed England’s second game against Finland after getting injured against Greece.
Furthermore, Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli also suffered an injury whilst on international duty and captain Martin Odegaard remains out from the last break. Mikel Arteta may have some tough line-up decisions to make as he doesn’t want to risk his best players.
They face a Bournemouth side whose last game was a disappointing 1-0 loss to newly-promoted Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. They will be keen to make it a tricky evening for the Gunners. Arteta will need to get his line-up spot on if they are to land three points.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya had a fantastic international break with the Spanish national team. The shot stopper contributed to two clean sheets with wins against Serbia and Denmark.

The French international is one of the first names on Mikel Arteta’s team sheet. He comes off a break where he featured in both of France’s wins against Israel and Belgium.
Gabriel
Gabriel last featured in Brazil’s 4-0 win over Peru on Wednesday and flew back to the UK. But due to the long flight, he won’t return to training until Friday – the day before the game against Bournemouth.
Jurrien Timber
Dutch full-back Timber didn’t go on international duty with Holland due to an injury he suffered against PSG. He is expected to be back and ready to play against Bournemouth.
Thomas Partey
Partey wasn’t able to go away on international duty with Ghana due to an unknown issue. If he is unable to play on Saturday, Jorginho will likely come into the side.
Declan Rice
England international Rice featured in both of England’s games over the break, he also scored against Finland in the Three Lions’ 3-1 win.

Trossard replaces Gabriel Martinelli who picked up a knock whilst on international duty with Brazil.

Despite picking up an injury against Greece, Saka is expected to be available to play against Bournemouth and is currently under assessment by the Arsenal medial staff.

German Kai Havertz wasn’t able to go away on international duty due to an injury to his knee. However, it is a minor issue and he is expected to be ready to play against Bournemouth.
Jesus hasn’t had the best start to the season, but seeing as the striker didn’t go away on international duty, he will be fit and ready to prove himself against Bournemouth.
