[4-2-3-1]: Willian Esteavo and New striker arrived- Chelsea’s new dangerous lineups as New striker signed and Willian Esteavo is called up

Enzo Maresca will be hoping to receive good news on the injury front throughout November’s international break. Chelsea entered the two-week pause third in the Premier League table and will wish to hit the ground running to maintain their solid form.

The three-game unbeaten streak to round off the latest stint of the campaign saw the Blues leapfrog a despondent Arsenal into third, whilst also making good ground ahead of other top-four challengers like Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur. During that time the manager has been forced to juggle injury blows to Cole Palmer, Wesley Fofana, Jadon Sancho, Romeo Lavia, Malo Gusto, Levi Colwill and Omari Kellyman.

Given his talents, the former has been the particular focus of supporters. It was a knock to Palmer’s knee in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw with Man United that started his most recent problems and despite featuring against Arsenal last weekend, he had no option but to pull out of the England squad this month in the hope that he will be fit for Leicester City (Nov 23) after the break.

As for other players out during this international break, the majority are also hoping to be short-term issues for Maresca and are aiming to make the squad next weekend.

Both Fofana, after feeling pain in the knee that kept him sidelined with his long-term ACL injury, and Lavia, picking up a knock, were substituted before the final whistle against Arsenal. The former was to be assessed whilst the latter admitted with him it was only a precaution and he would be okay.

Chelsea possible starting lineup:

Jorgensen; Renato Veiga, Disasi, Badiashile, Cucurella; Enzo, Dewsbury-Hall; Chukwuemeka, Joao Felix, Mudryk; Nkunku
