£34million versatile player willing to agree Man United move, Official bid to follow up – Journalists
Manchester United have been linked with Axel Disasi for some time and now, multiple journalists have confirmed that he is willing to move to Old Trafford.
Earlier this month, L’Equipe revealed that the Red Devils are a step away from getting the £34million-rated defender, whose preference is to join Erik ten Hag’s team.
More recently, Fabrizio Romano, and Dharmesh Sheth, have claimed that the 25-year-old would love to sign for Man United.
The Italian journalist, who works for The Guardian, stated:
“They had contact on the player’s side, for sure, for Disasi. From what I’m told, the player would be really excited to make a move to Manchester United.”
On the the other hand, the Sky reported told GiveMeSport:
“You mention Axel Disasi, the Monaco player, French international. That appears to be more from his side of things, because we understand that he would welcome the move to Old Trafford, even though United are looking at him.”
“I think it’s going to depend predominantly on who United can get out of the club first.”
Disasi has made over 100 appearances for AS Monaco and has the ability to play as a central defender and also in the right back role.
Last season, he netted six goals and provided four assists in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side, while mainly featuring as a center back.
At the FIFA World Cup, he made three appearances for France under Deschamps, mostly in the RB position.
