Confirmed this morning – Man United now agree £43million fee for signing,deal set to be completed today – Corriere del Ticino
The transfer saga surrounding David De Gea and Andre Onana has dragged on for some time and the latest reports indicate that Manchester United have agreed a £43million fee with Inter Milan to lure the African goalie.
As per today’s version of Corriere del Ticino (news image provided below), Inter are ready to part ways with the shot stopper after £43million (50 million euros) was put ‘on the plate’ by Man United.
The news source have mentioned that to replace the Cameroonian international the Nerazzurri are targeting the signing of Swiss and Bayern star, Yann Sommer.
Onana joined the San Siro outfit for free last year, so, this transfer will bring them a huge profit.
Over at Corriere dello Sport, it is reported that Onana is ‘ready’ to move and just waiting for the Red Devils to resolve the future of De Gea first.
The Rome based outlet claim Ten Hag wants to ‘get rid’ of the Spaniard but the Old Trafford outfit want a ‘softer farewell’ for the goalie who has been with the club since 2011.
CdS claim Man United wanted to pay 40 million euros for Onana, Inter demanded 60 million euros and the deal could be done for 50 million euros (£43million) with the addition of some bonuses.
Onana was arguably the best goal keeper in the European Cup last season and he won two domestic titles with Inter Milan.
