HERE WE GO: Arsenal preparing Whopping bid to land £60m England international, player wants to join because of Bukayo Saka His best friend

The Mirror report that Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur are all likely to be in the mix for Ivan Toney in the January transfer window, with Brentford set to demand at least £60m for the sale.

Toney is currently suspended from football due to breaching FA rules on gambling, but he’s back in training, and he’ll be able to play again in January.

The player is reportedly keen to leave Brentford, and the Mirror claim Arsenal would almost certainly have made a bid over the summer if Toney hadn’t been banned.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Toney is “100%” leaving Brentford in 2024, it’s just a question of which club he’ll end up at.

Meanwhile, football insider Team News and Ticks reports that Toney informed his new agent in August that his top priority was to get a move to Arsenal.

Toney switched agency to join CAA Stellar Group earlier this year, in another sign that he’s chasing a transfer.

But at this stage, none of the reports give any clarity over whether Arsenal have actually held any talks with Toney or Brentford.

Toney scored 20 goals in 33 Premier League games for Brentford last season, before his ban.

The 27-year-old was in the form of his career, and he’ll hope a top club is willing to take a chance on him in the upcoming window despite his lack of recent matches
