Today’s match marks the first Champions League game for Sevilla under the management of Diego Alonso (pictured above, far right), who was hired two days after the firing of coach Jose Luis Mendilibar on October 8.
While this will be his first time managing in the UEFA Champions League, he not only has managed in the CONCACAF Champions League before, but actually won that competition twice with Mexican sides Pachuca and Monterrey.
