He is the fastest player I have ever played against,He run faster than Muhammed Sallah’: Tottenham star Destiny Udogie says ONE Arsenal player is a joy to watch in the premier league – NOT Martinelli

Destiny Udogie has shared who he believes is the faster player between Mohamed Salah and Bukayo Saka having now faced both players for Tottenham.

The Italian international has enjoyed a fantastic debut season in the Premier League under Ange Postecoglou, with the fullback playing a key role in Tottenham’s rise up the standings.

And in an interview with the Athletic, Udogie has now declared who is faster between Arsenal’s starboy Saka or Liverpool’s Egyptian king Salah, with the Anfield star coming out on top.

Indeed, the 31-year-old winger is one of the fastest and fittest players in the Premier League, and it seems like Saka still has some way to go before he can outpace Liverpool’s dynamic forward.

Udogie said: “Saka was one of the most difficult because I never played against him and it was a derby. What makes him difficult is the way he takes his first touch, the way he attacks you and protects the ball.

“Salah is faster, more running into the space. And he is quick with the ball. So, it was quite hard but it was ok.”

Bukayo Saka can’t hold a candle to Mohamed Salah’s pace

There’s no doubting Saka’s pace and ability on the ball, with the Arsenal winger arguably the second-best right-sided attacker in world football in this moment in time.

However, ahead of the 22-year-old is Salah by some distance, and a key part of this is due to the Liverpool’s winger immense pace and speed when in possession.

Pace is a hard thing for a top player to add to their game, especially for someone as dedicated as Saka, who could already be at his physical peak under Mikel Arteta.

As a result, Salah will always have the edge on Saka until the Liverpool winger himself starts to regress, though all signs suggest that this won’t be happening for some years.
