He is so good,He is the real reason behind my success at Arsenal’: Kai Havertz Says £60m star is currently His best friend and teammate at the club now – Not Bukayo Saka and Not Martinelli
Kai Havertz has been full of praise for his Arsenal teammate, William Saliba.
Speaking on the Football Daily YouTube channel, the German has been discussing some of his teammates and their abilities, and he says that Saliba is a player who is just levels above anyone else.
The former Chelsea man says that not only is Saliba a great teammate, he’s a great player, claiming that he makes everything on the pitch look incredibly easy, while he also plays with a calmness unbefitting of his age at just 22 years old.
Kai Havertz hails William Saliba
The midfielder spoke incredibly highly of his £27m teammate.
“The same as I said with the other two guys, a great guy and as a defender he’s so so good. He makes things so easy, he’s so calm and he’s still so young. I think he’s such a good defender and he’s going to have a good career in front of him,” Havertz said.
William Saliba is incredible
Havertz isn’t wrong about the Frenchman, he’s a top-class player who makes this game look ridiculously easy.
At the age of just 22, Saliba really shouldn’t be this good. He’s wise beyond his years, and he’s one of the most physically dominant centre-backs we’ve seen for a long time.
The scary thing is that Saliba is only 18 months into his Premier League career, he’s still adapating to this division, and the more he plays, the better he will get.
Saliba is already one of the very best defenders on the planet, but when all is said and done, he could end up going down as an all-time great for Arsenal.
That £27m transfer fee the Gunners paid a few years ago already looks like a snip, that’s for sure.
Saliba and this group of young players could achieve something seriously special at Arsenal.
