Finally done: Man United new signing is now in LONDON with His family as He is set for medical tonight, announcement will be done tomorrow morning
Manchester United are consistently linked with Leny Yoro and reports in the French media are interesting.
According to Le10Sport, Lille have demanded a mammoth fee worth 90 million euros to send the player to Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the news source have mentioned that the Ligue 1 side could allow their prized asset to leave for a lower fee in case they receive offers from abroad.
As per the report, Man Utd are ‘very interested’ and could have a strategy in mind to beat the likes of PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to the signature of Yoro.
The strategy is to buy the player in the current transfer window and loan him back to Lille for the remainder of the season.
After 18 league games, the Les Dogues are currently three points behind Brest, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot in the table.
So, they do need Yoro, who has been fantastic, for the second of the season to earn a place in Europe’s elite tournament.
Le10Sport cite claim from French football expert Jonathan Johnson and state Lille would be inclined to agree a sale in January on a condition that the teenager will be loaned back to them until the end of the campaign.
As far as the lower asking fee for foreign clubs is concerned, journalist, Christopher Michel, recently revealed that Lille would demand minimum £68.7m (80 million euros) to sell Yoro in winter.
Man Utd need urgent reinforcements at the back. Still, do you think they should think long term and agree a deal to sign and then loan back Leny Yoro?
