He has really improved,if you watch His game against WestHam you can See He is on another level this season’: David Seaman name the only Arsenal player that can win Arteta the league title this season if He continues with His form

David Seaman has now been discussing the improvement of one Arsenal player following a seismic win against West Ham United.

Mikel Arteta’s side seem to be finding form at the right point of the season, as we’ve so often seen with Manchester City over the years.

The likes of Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard perhaps stole the show against West Ham yesterday.

However, several Arsenal players are now beginning to improve and fully settle into the side ahead of the ‘business end’ of the season.

Kai Havertz doubters seem to have dissipated in recent weeks, a player who produced another stellar showing in East London yesterday.

But it was actually the improvement of David Raya at Arsenal that has really impressed David Seaman.

The fellow goalkeeper was speaking on talkSPORT this morning and suggested that Mikel Arteta’s decision now finally looked justified.

Seaman was one of many that questioned the decision to replace Aaron Ramsdale, but seems to admit that it now looked like a good call.

David Seaman amazed by the improvement David Raya is now showing at Arsenal
As well as the obvious advantages that Raya provides with the ball at his feet, Seaman also hailed his ability to stop crosses.

And given the form of the Spaniard, Seaman thought Arsenal will have a tough decision to make with Ramsdale in the summer.

He said: “To be fair I thought he looked a little bit nervous straight away, when he first came in.

“There’s all that pressure of should Aaron be in there, and I think that affected him a little bit.

“But he has settled down now and we are all seeing how good he is with his feet. He is brilliant on crosses, you have to give him that.

“He is settling down nicely and he is fitting in as well.

“As much as that is really hard on Aaron, there is still a massive decision to be made in the summer as to what happens.”

Arteta’s plan worked
Of course, Arteta surely will be very pleased with how the situation has progressed.

It looks all but certain that Arsenal will sign Raya this summer, in a deal totalling around £30m, which probably will lead to Ramsdale’s exit.

And whilst that will be tough to stomach for some Arsenal fans, the funds any departure will raise could be vital.

Edu Gaspar and Arteta will have lofty ambitions for the summer, and players leaving will be a key part.

And given the improvement Seaman has seen in Raya at Arsenal, fans should be assured that he has all the ability to be number one.

That being said, an Arsenal defender showed a whole new side to his game yesterday.
