The Premier League is jam-packed with world-class players right now, and according to Arsenal’s Jorginho, Bukayo Saka is one of the best in the league.
Speaking on JD Football’s YouTube channel, the Italian was asked to name the five best players in the division right now.
Jorginho, as you could probably imagine, named Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland as three of the five best players in the league.
The Italian struggled to name the final two players on his list, and after Manchester City’s Rodri was suggested to him, he ultimately decided that Bukayo Saka and Reece James were better choices.
Jorginho names Bukayo Saka as better than Rodri
Jorginho spoke about the 22-year-old.
“Who are the five best players in the Premier League?” Jorginho was asked.
“Ok, so we have KDB, Mo Salah and Erling Haaland,” The co-host said.
“These three for sure, it’s a tough one, yeah it’s tough,” Jorginho said.
“You could say Rodri maybe?” The host suggested
“It could be, but I will go for Saka, and for the fifth, I will put Reece James,” Jorginho said.
Bukayo Saka is one of the best
Jorginho isn’t too far wrong with his list here.
Salah, De Bruyne and Haaland are undoubtedly three of the best in the division, and while the Reece James shout is questionable, on his day, the Chelsea right-back is brilliant.
Of course, you can’t ignore what Arsenal have done over the past 18 months, and the Gunners’ best player during that time may well have been Saka.
At the age of just 22, the winger is making a huge impact at Arsenal, he consistently turns up in the big moments, and he has all of the talent in the world.
It is tough to name the five best players in the Premier League, but regardless of who you think the top five are, Saka is certainly in that conversation.
