Manchester United exploring fresh move for Tottenham striker

Man United are keeping a close eye on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane ahead of a possible summer move, The Mirror reports.

The England international was heavily linked with arch-rivals Manchester City last summer, but Spurs were firm on their not-for-sale stance on their prized asset.

Kane made a slow start to the campaign amid the speculation, but has come into his own over the past few weeks.

He currently has 21 goals and four assists from 39 games. It is now reported that United are planning to renew their long-term interest in Kane, considering Manchester City are now prioritising a deal for Erling Braut Haaland.

Kane will enter the final two years of his contract. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could mull over his exit if he has no plans of putting pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal.

The striker could still cost in upwards of £100 million. A move for Kane could be hinting towards the arrival of former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino as United’s next manager.
