Manchester United’s winning run was brutally ended by Fulham at Old Trafford.

If Ten Hag’s side find a weakness, they have to exploit it at every opportunity, rather than give their rivals a chance to reset.
Once again, Ten Hag’s side were undone on a set piece. Bassey was allowed two bites of the cherry to open the scoring, with his second effort finding the back of the net.
The United players were far too slow getting out of their penalty area, before the former Ajax ace scored. Ten Hag has to find a way to make sure his players can get out of their box once the first contact from the delivery has been made.

While injuries limited his options, Ten Hag could have leaned on the experience of Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Jonny Evans and Sofyan Amrabat to add extra steel to his side. Mainoo did his best, but United looked more confident when he was swapped for Amad Diallo and McTominay was also brought on.
