He is the perfect option for this Arsenal team if they really wants to win the premier League title,He has already turn down Man United offer’: Chelsea legend Cesc Fabregas reveals the only player Arsenal must sign to keep their good form again next season

Arsenal and Manchester United could be battling it out with one another in the 2024 summer transfer market despite being in different worlds out on the pitch.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be playing against the elite in the Champions League again next season after previously going several years without it.

Of course, Arsenal will be bitterly disappointed at losing out on the Premier League title race on the last day of the season to Manchester City.

But they are still on the up, which is something you can’t say for Manchester United, after their eighth-placed finish.

Saying that, the under-fire Erik ten Hag did guide his team to glory in the FA Cup final when they dethroned Manchester City, which led to some questioning if Manchester United had a better season than the Gunners.

It’s the Europa League for those at Old Trafford next season and now all eyes will be on who the club can bring in via the summer transfer market.

Cesc Fabregas was told about Youssouf Fofana possibly joining Manchester United, but he can’t see it happening because he has ‘heard’ that the AS Monaco star, who he played with, is headed to AC Milan as he told Planet Football.

Sources told HITC that Arsenal have turned their attention to the 25-year-old and they have ’touched base’ with the midfielder’s representatives.

Fabregas labelled Fofana as a ‘very dynamic’ player and someone who he thinks could fit into the Premier League, even if he doesn’t think he will be moving to Old Trafford.

Youssouf Fofana’s future
“Yes, of course, I played with him (at Monaco),” said Fabregas. “Funnily enough, I never heard about Manchester United. I heard he was going to AC Milan because (Paulo) Fonseca is going to go there from France (was recently Lille manager) and they know him.

“Let’s see where he goes. A very dynamic strong player. Good on the ball. A modern type of player. Aggressive and he can jump. He’s a box-to-box. I really like Fofana and I think he fits very well in the Premier League.”

Arsenal and Manchester United next season
Many will still be backing Arsenal to push for the title again, and this time, get over the line and become champions of England for the first time in nearly two decades.

It’s just a case of getting things right in the summer transfer market and tuning those finer details.

The same can’t be said for Manchester United, who yes have another FA Cup trophy in their cabinet, but are nowhere near the top teams in the Premier League.

A lot will depend on what the club does with ten Hag because they are yet to decide on his future or to back him ahead of next season.
