Manchester United are prepared to offload Mason Greenwood in the summer transfer window but only if the price is met.
As per today’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), Juventus are advancing to secure the signing of the English attacker from the Red Devils.
The renowned Italian media outlet have mentioned that the winger has already said ‘Yes’ to a move to the Bianconeri but the Old Trafford outfit must be convinced.
It is stated that Man Utd are ready to agree a deal worth £30million-£34million (35-40 million euros) to sell Mason Greenwood in the summer transfer window.
The asking fee is ‘too much’ for the Old Lady who believe the demand is unreasonable because the player will be out of contract next year.
Hence, the Serie A giants are trying to negotiate a lower fee and are also working to find ‘advantageous formulas’.
Juve are looking to include Samuel Iling-Junior in the deal to lure Greenwood from Man Utd.
On the other hand, even a proven quality playmaker like Federico Chiesa could be offered. The Italian will also be free to leave next year and the Turin club want to offload him immediately.
Gazzetta claim United is a big club capable of convincing the Italian international to move to Old Trafford.
Last season, Greenwood started 30 La Liga games on loan for Getafe and directly contributed in 14 goals. Chiesa started 25 games in the league for Juventus and directly contributed in 12 goals.
