Report: Arsenal insiders think their ‘exceptional’ player isn’t actually ‘injured’ despite pulling up recently

Arsenal could be without Emile Smith Rowe this weekend against Brentford but there is good news on the injury front when it comes to the midfielder.

Smith Rowe pulled up in the warm down at Old Trafford last week in the latest of a long line of minor set backs for the England international. The young midfielder has seen his career stall a tad after losing his place in the Arsenal XI and with a World Cup around the corner, Smith Rowe will feel he might have missed his chance.

However, according to The Athletic, any notion that Smith Rowe will be missing for a long time are wide of the mark, with Arsenal insiders not even classing the current set back as an injury. It’s believed that Smith Rowe is simply suffering from a groin problem related to growing pains, rather than a direct injury.
