“Erik ten Hag maybe after my life…Man City’s club director called me and warned me last week all because of Erik ten Hag, But must he sign all the good players?”: Pep Gaurdiorla angrily reacts to Erik ten Hag hijacking Man City top transfer as the star is currently undergoing medical to join Man United
Manuel Ugarte is set to undergo his Man United medical today, ahead of a switch to the Red Devils.
Manchester United Football Club are crying out for a new central midfielder. Preferably a defensive-minded one who can come in and help out Casemiro, whose legs are now looking a little slower than they used to…
A fellow South American has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford switch this summer, with Manuel Ugarte deemed surplus to requirements at PSG after just one season.
United have been looking to use PSG’s desire to sell Ugarte to their advantage, as they look to secure the player in a deal that’s cheaper than his typical market value.
Well, over the last 24 hours, there has been a breakthrough in negotiations. Duncan Castles has confirmed that Ugarte is set for his United medical today, after the two clubs agreed a fee last night.
PSG will receive £42m up front from United, with a further £8.5m available in add-ons and bonuses.

Credit to United, who have remained patient all summer here. They knew that they could negotiate a better deal for Ugarte than a straight £50m+ fee. Instead, they’ve knocked the up front fee down significantly, making up the rest of the offer in various add-ons and bonuses.
Ugarte is someone who could help transform United’s midfield, though he cannot do it all on his own so we should temper our expectations. This is a young man who is still learning his trade and we shouldn’t place too much pressure on his shoulders.
That said, this has the potential to be an excellent piece of business for Manchester United.
