4-2-3-1: Erik ten Hag a total Made changes in Man United starting XI as SIX first team players starts from bench- All the new signings starts

After a humiliating defeat at the hands of arch rivals, Liverpool, at Old Trafford, Man Utd will collide against Southampton hoping to get back to winning ways today.

The Saints are currently 19th in the Premier League table after losing all three games and only avoid rock bottom because Everton have an even inferior GD.

Therefore, Man Utd should be considered firm favorites to beat Southampton and any other result would be a another huge setback for Erik ten Hag.

As far as the team news is concerned, the Dutch manager may make two changes to the squad that started vs the Anfield club in the last league game.

Casemiro was flop of the fixture and gifted Liverpool two goals. He was subbed at half time and should not be found anywhere near the starting lineup for now.

His long term replacement, Manuel Ugarte, should get the nod to start in the defensive midfield position and partner Kobbie Mainoo in the center of the park.

The Uruguayan international featured in both the World Cup qualification fixtures during the international break and helped his team keep clean sheets.

In the attacking third, Amad Diallo would likely replace Garnacho on the right flank. Bruno Fernandes should retain his CAM position and Rashford would start on the left flank. The England international needs to step up big time.

Hojlund will not be rushed at all and Zirkzee will once again get the nod to feature as the main striker up front. The backline would remain unchanged and Andre Onana should start in the goal again for Man Utd.

Man Utd strongest 4-2-3-1 starting XI vs Southampton: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Fernandes; Rashford, Amad, Zirkzee.
