The two former Manchester City players were a key part of the Gunners’ title hopes in the 2022/23 campaign however, since then, the level seems to have risen without them.
As a result, there are some natural doubts over the future of both the Ukrainian and Jesus, whose future was pondered by journalist Charles Watts on the Inside Arsenal podcast.
“Do I think Jesus could potentially leave the club at some point fairly soon?
“I think if an offer came in, I don’t think Arsenal would be insistent on standing in his way and blocking the move,” Watts said.
The journalist then made the point of Arteta’s constant hunger to improve his squad and how that could soon impact the front line.
“When you look at where Arsenal could upgrade the squad, I think that’s [striker] an area where that might happen.”

It could be argued that Jesus simply doesn’t fit what the manager is looking for in his ever-progressing side, added to the brutal argument of whether the forward is at the standard to lead the line in a title-challenging side anymore.
Many will share Watts’ opinion on what Arsenal’s stance with possible transfer interest in Jesus should be, as the 27-year-old’s chance to impress is shrinking.
