I will join for free once my contract is terminated with Juventus but only on ONE CONDITION’- Paul Pogba reveals the only condition that will make Him return back to Man united amid speculation that He is coming back for free

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has not ruled out a move back to the Premier League. The 31-year-old quit United after six years in the summer of 2022 to return to Juventus.

Pogba’s first season back in Turin was a difficult one. He was limited to just 10 appearances across all competitions after struggling with a number of different injuries. The Frenchman missed the first part of the campaign after undergoing surgery on his knee, before later sustaining several muscle issues

After starting the following season injury free, Pogba failed a doping test and was subsequently handed a four-year suspension from football which looked like it would end his professional playing career.

However, following an appeal, the ban has since been reduced to 18 months, meaning Pogba is free to resume training in January and make his first appearance in March. Despite this, Juventus are still expected to terminate his contract – which is due to expire in 2026 – by mutual consent, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It does mean that Pogba could be available to sign for a club on a free transfer which has increased rumours over a possible return to the Premier League. And in an interview with Sky Sports, Pogba did not rule out a move back to England – over two years since leaving United

When asked if he could return to the Premier League, Pogba said: “I am at Juventus, I am still under contract, this is where I am.

“I will see with them what they are thinking, my vision is to come back training and show that I am a football player, a new Paul Pogba but Paul Pogba with the same qualities and that I am still ready, that is all I’m thinking of.”

Pogba’s initial sample for DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) was taken on the first game of the 2023/24 season following a random test and the verdict was given in October 2023. Pogba has always denied “knowingly or deliberately taking any supplements that violate anti-doping regulations”.
