It’s uncertain whether the Brazilian will feature against West Ham at this moment with Gabriel to undergo an injury assessment at Colney.
There is however some positive news as Kieran Tierney is fit to make the squad against West Ham after spending the start of the season away from the action.
The Scotsman hasn’t featured since August 2023 but Tierney made the squad to face Sporting on Tuesday night.

Arteta has some decisions to make as to who starts against West Ham however, the manager’s mind would have been made up on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners blew Sporting CP away which could prompt the manager to name an identical XI although, that very much depends on Gabriel’s fitness.
David Raya will start between the sticks and in defence, change could be required if Gabriel is deemed unavailable.
In that instance, Arteta could be tempted to switch up his back four, bringing in Oleksandr Zinchenko to move Riccardo Calafiori to centre-back to partner William Saliba.
At right-back, Jurrien Timber is playing out of his skin and will be eager to make another crucial impact.
