Manchester United are keen on signing Lille striker Jonathan David.
That is according to TuttoJuve, which has claimed interest in David from Serie A outfit Juventus as well.
The report in the Italian news outlet has noted that with David out of contract at Lille at the end of the season, Premier League giants United are “seriously considering the option” of making a move for the striker.
The 24-year-old Canada international striker “represents a golden opportunity” for Ruben Amorim’s side, according to TuttoJuve.

David is one of the strikers around, and the 24-year-old Lille star would be a brilliant signing for United.
While it is hard to see David making the move to the Red Devils in the January transfer window, it would be a coup for Amorim’s team if they are able to get a deal done in the summer of 2025.
David is unlikely to leave Lille in the middle of the season. The Canada international striker has scored 17 goals and given five assists in 28 matches in all competitions (Transfermarkt) so far this season.
The 24-year-old will surely want to end the campaign at the French club and then look at his options in the summer of 2025 when he will become a free agent.
United are not having a good campaign and are unlikely to end up in the European places in the Premier League table.
If they are able to convince David to move to Old Trafford, then it would be huge for the club.
David, linked with Chelsea last summer, is one of the most lethal strikers in Europe and is also very consistent.
The striker scored 26 goals and provided five assists in all matches for Lille last season, while during the 2022-23 campaign, he found the back of the net 26 times and gave four assists in 40 appearances.
