Arsenal are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window, with the club already confirming a number of deals.

football.london understands the Gunners are in the market for a back-up goalkeeper, defender, central midfielder, new striker and potentially a wide forward this summer. A deal for Martin Zubimendi looks to have already been agreed, while Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko are among the strikers linked with a move to Emirates Stadium.

Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta are working hard behind the scenes to improve the squad for the 2025/26 season, with Arsenal co-chairman Josh Kroenke confirming the club’s intentions in May. “We plan to invest to get behind winning and doing better next season,” he said.

We’re delighted we have our sporting director, Andrea, who will play an important role in this. He is part of a unified and strong team, supported by the board, who are crystal clear on exactly what we need to do and the way in which we want to do it. The right way. The Arsenal way.

“Ultimately, we all want the same thing. We’re as hungry for success as you are and that goes for everyone who works for the club. We have brilliant people right across Arsenal and I want to thank every member of staff for the dedication they have shown again this season. It’s something we have reflected on this week and it never goes unnoticed.”

Arsenal have already been quick to confirm a number of exits, with Nuno Tavares joining Lazio in a deal worth around £4.2million. A mutual agreement was also reached with Jorginho to end his contract with the club, with the Italian joining Brazilian club Flamengo ahead of the Club World Cup.

Left-back Kieran Tierney will leave the Gunners when his contract expires on June 30, it was confirmed earlier this month. The Scotland international is expected to re-join Celtic. A number of youth players were also released, with Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who made two appearances for the first team during the 2024/25 season, perhaps the most notable name.

With that said, football.london takes a closer look at all the transfers completed by Arsenal so far this summer.
