BREAKING: Arsenal premier League fixtures next season officially out Today – As Mikel Arteta new squad set to Face first four dangerous teams that could decide the premier League title early

The fixtures for the 2025/26 Premier League season will be released at 9am on Wednesday, with the top flight’s 20 clubs finding out exactly when they will play each other.

Arsenal will be hoping to go one better next season after finishing second in three consecutive years. Liverpool are the team to beat after being crowned champions in May, while the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle and Aston Villa are expected to be up there.

Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland are the league’s newcomers and an opening fixture against any one of the promoted sides is usually a tough encounter. Unlike the case with regard to European competitions, there is no seeding for Premier League fixtures, meaning anyone can be pitted against anyone.

The new Premier League campaign starts on the weekend of August 15/16/17, with the first match played on a Friday night. The final gameweek of the 2025/26 season will be played on May 24, 2026.

Ahead of the fixtures being released at 9am on Wednesday, football.london used a fixture simulator to determine the opening six rounds of games. According to the simulator, Arsenal were dealt an extremely tough opening few weeks of the season.

Mikel Arteta’s side travel to Newcastle on the opening day, before entertaining Chelsea at Emirates Stadium the following week. A short journey to Crystal Palace is on the menu for gameweek 3, before Arteta is reunited with Pep Guardiola and Manchester City in gameweek 4.

The following week is also tricky with a trip to Brighton on the cards, before Manchester United make the journey to the capital to take on the Gunners. Other fixtures to note in the simulation is the first North London Derby of the season, scheduled for Emirates Stadium in gameweek 11. Arteta’s side also travel to Liverpool in gameweek 15.
