Arsenal have had a productive summer with six signings thus far.
The club have primarily focused on bolstering the forward department.
Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres have already joined, while Eberechi Eze is poised to become the club’s seventh summer signing soon.
Ahead of the Leeds United game, manager Mikel Arteta was asked whether the club could bring in one more player to complete the squad.
The Spaniard did not rule out the prospect, highlighting that there is still a long time in the window.
Based on Arteta’s comments, let’s have a look at who could be signed before the transfer deadline.
Malick Fofana – Lyon
Arsenal were credited with a fresh interest in the Belgian winger, just hours after finalising a deal for Eze.

The 20-year-old ace is expected to leave this summer amid Lyon’s dire financial situation.
The Ligue 1 side are prepared to sanction his sale for £34 million before the transfer window closes.
Arsenal could face competition from Bayern Munich for the left wing specialist, who made 16 goal contributions during the 2024/25 campaign.
Jeremy Jacquet – Rennes
Jakub Kiwior has his sights on pursuing a new challenge away from Arsenal for regular playing time.
Arsenal may not block his departure if they receive a package of around £26m for his services.
In that case, they may explore a new centre-back and could pursue a deal for Rennes’ Jacquet.
The 20-year-old was brilliant during the backend of last season, helping Rennes steer clear of the Ligue 1 drop zone.
He has been likened to William Saliba for his playing style. He is strong in the air and has the knack for winning duels.
The Frenchman has also caught the eye with his tackling, interceptions and ability to clear his lines. He looks a big talent.
Rodrygo – Real Madrid
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Real Madrid’s Rodrygo over the course of the transfer window.
It has been claimed that Rodrygo would give his absolute priority to the Gunners if he were to move to the Premier League this summer.
A permanent transfer seems unlikely on the cards, given Arsenal have spent more than £260m on new signings without player sales.
The club cannot afford to spend a staggering £87m, which Los Blancos could demand to part ways with the Brazil international.
However, Arsenal could have an outside chance if Madrid open the door for a season-long loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
That possibility would be unlikely, suppose Manchester City were to step up their interest in signing the 24-year-old in the coming days
