BREAKING NEWS: Three Man United players failed late fitness test in training this morning and now officially out of team xi

Manchester United host Burnley in today’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the campaign, picking up just one point from their opening two league games.

The club were also ousted from the Carabao Cup in the second round following a shock penalty shoot-out defeat to Grimsby Town.

Manager Ruben Amorim is expected to make changes after the dreadful outing. We could see a new goalkeeper against the Clarets.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana had a difficult game between the sticks against Grimsby. He should have done better in the lead-up to both goals conceded. He is likely to drop to the bench.

Altay Bayindir has also had a rough time dealing with crosses this campaign. We won’t be surprised if Amorim opts for Tom Heaton to start against his former employers.

The 39-year-old had a good pre-season and could finally make his league debut for United.

Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw were rested in midweek and should be reinstated in the back three alongside Matthijs de Ligt. Harry Maguire, Ayden Heaven and Tyler Fredricson will make way for the trio.

Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu should continue in the wing-back roles.

United need to play on the front foot against the Clarets and need more positivity from the centre of the park. In that case, we would stick with Kobbie Mainoo alongside Bruno Fernandes despite the speculation surrounding his future.

Manuel Ugarte has looked out of sorts since the start of the campaign, while Casemiro has limited mobility as he is no longer in his prime. United are likely to land a new defensive midfielder before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Further forward, Amad Diallo is bound to be dropped on the back of two poor performances. Bryan Mbeumo looks set to return to the starting XI in the right-sided number 10 position.

Benjamin Sesko had a harsh reality check against Grimsby. He managed only seven passes and lost 10 duels. He could drop to the bench with Mason Mount being reinstated into the line-up.

Mount is likely to partner Mbeumo with Cunha leading the attack as the number nine.
