DEAL AGREED: Man United have finally agree the deal to sign £90million creative midfielder who’s far better than Casemiro defensively and attacking-wise.- He’s set to undergo medical now.
Man united have agreed a huge transfer fee to sign the European most creative midfielder who has been amazing this season.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged the Red Devils’ hierarchy to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.
The Red Devils are expected to bolster the holding midfield department during the next transfer window, given they have confirmed Casemiro’s exit.
The Brazilian has been in exceptional form over the last few months, but he is assured to leave when his contract formally expires at the end of June.
He said on his YouTube channel: “Tchouameni would be great, but is he available? I think he is a fantastic footballer. I remember the game between France and England.
“Majestic, he was strong. He was so commanding. He’s played in huge games, and he has the experience. I wouldn’t worry about him if we got him. I would be very happy to get him.”
Tchouameni to Man Utd could be a difficult move to pursue
The former Monaco man signed for Madrid for an initial £68 million in 2022 with add-ons. He has already covered the cost with standout performances over the past four years.
However, the door has opened for a potential transfer this summer, with reports suggesting that the La Liga heavyweights could seek to land Manchester City’s Rodri to replace him.
Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez is another top name on their radar. Still, a deal could be difficult to pursue, particularly if Jose Mourinho returns to Madrid as their next head coach.
The Portuguese tactician prefers to field hard-working defensive midfielders with a tireless work rate, and could block Tchouameni’s potential summer move away from Los Blancos.
If Tchouameni were to become available, he would no doubt be an outstanding signing for United.
The Frenchman has a passing accuracy of 91 percent in La Liga this term. He has won a stunning 69 percent of his duels with four recoveries, two tackles and two clearances per game.
He has lost possession just six times on average. His ball control and forward distribution would be a perfect foil for United. He would be a solid upgrade for the number six position.
United will have plenty of funds with Champions League football almost guaranteed. A price tag of £68m or more should not deter the Red Devils from purchasing the highly-rated star.
