‘Unstoppable’ £40m goal machine could be joining Arsenal very soon, fans should be buzzing – TBR View
With the January transfer window fast approaching, Arsenal could well look to delve into the market.
The Gunners enjoyed a bright summer on the transfer front which has helped them go top of the Premier League table.
The Gunners reportedly had a new midfielder and a new winger in mind ahead of deadline day last time out.
As they failed to get either across the line, they may well go again in a month’s time.
And while there are no guarantees as to who may join, there is one name who looks more and more likely to do so.
That player is Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine star Mykhaylo Mudryk.
‘The framework of a deal in place’
He was heavily linked with Arsenal in summer, and links between the two parties have remained strong.
And if recent speculation is anything to go by, the Gunners are edging ever closer to the Ukrainian’s signature.
A few days ago, The Mirror reported that Arsenal are close to winning the race for Mudryk.
Apparently, the Gunners have ‘the framework of a deal in place’ after Shakhtar lowered their asking price.
Now, they are reportedly willing to accept £40million plus add-ons for a player previously valued at around £90million.
Over the past few months, Mudryk has seemingly issued several come-get-me pleas towards Arsenal.
These range from interviews to social media activity. And in terms of the latter, something new has come up.
Mudryk appears to have liked an Instagram post from AFTV which discusses the prospect of him joining the Gunners.
Mudryk has dropped quite a few hints over the past months, and this is just another to add to the list.
The 21-year-old is an ‘unstoppable‘ player who has gone from strength to strength this year.
Mudryk has a staggering 10 goals and eight assists from just 18 club outings this season.
This includes three goals and two assists in the Champions League, showing he can deliver at the highest level.
Hopefully a deal can be sorted out very soon, and if that’s the case, fans will no doubt be buzzing.
