‘The best have ever seen’: Luke Shaw amazed by one Arsenal player on international duty

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has told Arsenal’s star boy Bukayo Saka on his Instagram that he is ‘the best’ after England beat Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley on Sunday.

The 21-year-old supplied a brilliant cross for Harry Kane to open the scoring during England’s Euro 2024 qualifier, before Bukayo Saka himself curled in a stunning effort into the top corner moments later.

It was another sign of Saka’s magic and why he is one of the form forwards in world football today – Gary Lineker called the player a ‘wonderfully gifted footballer’.

From his 26 games in England colours, he has eight goals to his name, and given that he has years left in the tank, then he might be hitting some serious numbers in years to come.

As of yet, it’s not Harry Kane-esque numbers because, on Thursday night, the Spurs man became England’s all-time top scorer when he netted from the penalty spot to score goal number 54 for his nation, then 55 against Ukraine.

Gareth Southgate has some serious attacking talent to pick from, with Saka one that is thriving on the flanks.

When he expressed his delight at his latest performance for the Three Lions, in the comments section, Aaron Ramsdale told his club teammate that he is ‘special’, whilst Shaw added that he is ‘the best’.

SAKA – PLAYER OF THE YEAR?

Even if the Hale-End academy star doesn’t get that individual prize, one thing is for sure, he should be in the conversation.

The man on the top of everyone’s lips will be the goal-crazy forward, Erling Haaland.

You could also through Kane’s name into the hat as well because, despite Tottenham’s issues, he is having an outstanding campaign.

But if Saka does guide his club to the Premier League title, then why doesn’t he deserve that prize because he has been out of this world.
