Arsenal are strongly interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio on a free transfer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Spaniard has amassed over 250 appearances for Los Blancos in his career but he is likely to move on amid his reduced game time.
He will be available on a free transfer when his contract expires in June and it is reported that Arsenal are front-runners in the race.

He has managed a goal contribution in every 98 minutes for Los Blancos and could now seek a new club where he can prove himself.
Arsenal currently have numerous attacking options but Asensio would still be a brilliant purchase on a free transfer this summer.
Asensio can play on the left or right wing as well as in the number 10 position. He could be a valuable player to add competition.
We have seen the impact that Leandro Trossard has had since his January switch. Asensio would be another shrewd signing.
The Spanish star currently earns around £167,000-a-week at Los Blancos and may want close to £200,000 at his next club.
