Arsenal

Not Saka or Martinelli – “He’s a big game player”; Jurgen Klopp happy that Arsenal star who is capable of destroying Liverpool will now be bench on Sunday

As Arsenal aim to get a win at Anfield against Liverpool for the first time since 2012, we have tried to call their predicted lineup.

Coming off the back of their rampant 4-1 victory against Leeds United, we expect Mikel Arteta to make just 1 change to his side.

ARSENAL PREDICTED LINEUP VS LIVERPOOL

As always, Aaron Ramsdale is guaranteed to man the net in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Liverpool.

At right-back, Ben White is expected to keep his place in the XI, especially after getting on the scoresheet against Leeds on Saturday.

With William Saliba still out of action due to injury, Rob Holding is likely to keep his place at right centre-back.

Right alongside the Englishman is set to be the in-form Gabriel Magalhaes in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Liverpool.

While at left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko is yet another guaranteed starter in the team in what is expected to be an unchanged back four.

In defensive midfield, Thomas Partey is almost always a guarantee in big games, especially one that could have an impact on whether the title heads to London or Manchester.

Granit Xhaka is another player who slots right into the side against Liverpool, who also bagged a goal against Javi Gracia’s men in what was another remarkable performance.

Speaking of players with an argument for being the first names on the score sheet for the Gunners, in comes captain Martin Odegaard.

In the right-wing role, Bukayo Saka, branded as ‘phenomenal’ by Rio Ferdinand on the FIVE YouTube channel is set to be the one and only change to the side in place of Leandro Trossard.

Up front, Mikel Arteta is unlikely to drop Gabriel Jesus for the Belgian, as he scored a brilliant brace on the weekend.

And to cap off the side, Gabriel Martinelli will keep his place in the predicted lineup to potentially cause mayhem for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Liverpool: Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
