‘Not good enough for Arsenal’: Agbonlahor says Arsenal 27-year-old should play in Championship
Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that Arsenal defender Rob Holding is not enough for the Gunners.
The former Aston Villa striker has said on talkSPORT that Arsenal defender Holding is a Championship level player.
Agbonlahor made the comments about the 27-year-old Englishman in the wake of Arsenal failing to win against Southampton in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Although the Gunners are still at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, defending champions and second-placed Manchester City now appear to have the advantage.

Agbonlahor said: “You look at Holding. For me, he is a Championship defender.
“Not good enough to be the third-choice centre-half for a team who want to win the title.”
Our Verdict: Harsh
In our view, it is really harsh of Gabriel Agbonlahor to say that Rob Holding is a Championship level player and not good enough for Arsenal.
Okay, Holding is not the best of the centre-backs around, but the 27-year-old is a good squad player for Arsenal.
Now, of course, we all know that Gabriel and William Saliba are the two main centre-backs at Arsenal, but with the France international injured at the moment, manager Mikel Arteta is having to use Holding.
We cannot expect Holding to play like a world-class defender when he does not feature regularly for Arsenal.
