Manchester United Told Sofyan Amrabat Transfer Price
How Much Must United Pay For Amrabat?
The Red Devils are reportedly set to push for the signing of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after sealing the signing of the Danish forward and are also reported to have agreed personal terms with the Moroccan star too.
Now, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Erik ten Hag’s side are ‘pressing’ to sign him for a fee of around £21.4 million, which is lower than what the Serie A club want to let him go. It’s stated that Fiorentina have valued the 26-year-old at around £25.7 million, but would be open to the prospect of letting him leave for around £21.4 million plus £4.2 million in potential add-ons.
As it stands, it appears that United will need to pay close to the £25 million price range to make their potential fourth signing of the summer in Amrabat, who has incidentally worked with Ten Hag in the past during his time at FC Utrecht.
United Enjoying Efficient Summer Transfer Window
The Red Devils have been quite active in the early period of the summer transfer window since it officially kicked off at the start of July. They made a surprising decision to allow David de Gea to leave the club after a 12-year stint, replacing him with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana as their new no.1.
They also made another surprising acquisition by roping in Mason Mount from Chelsea to add more creativity and energy levels to their midfield. They now seem to be poised to finally add a striker to their squad, after struggling for goals last season and scoring the joint-third lowest amount among the top-10 Premier League sides in the latest campaign. Ten Hag seems keen to reunite with Amrabat, who has been described as a “defensive force” in the past due to his performances for Morocco and Fiorentina.
