In a recent report, The Daily Express mentioned that Arsenal could be offered a chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Goncalo Ramos, who is currently playing on loan from Benfica, this month. It has been revealed that the Gunners are eager to land a new forward and could get an opportunity to land Ramos in this winter transfer window.
Ramos’ Lackluster Loan Spell In France
The Portuguese talent has struggled to prove his worth at the French club. PSG opted to sign him on a loan deal with an option to buy the player permanently next summer. However, his lack of form could force the Ligue 1 club to cash in on him before the end of this January transfer window. Ramos has scored four goals and earned one assist in 19 matches for PSG thus far across all fronts.
The 22-year-old needs to earn regular first-team starts if he wants to get his career back on track. Hence, Arsenal could be an ideal destination for him if Mikel Arteta is planning to play him regularly in the second half of this campaign.

Ramos can find some space for himself to get a few shots in at goal. He can be a decent finisher in the final third when he is playing regularly and with confidence on the pitch.
The Portuguese sensation can also make some clever runs in and around the opponent’s penalty box. However, he has to figure out a way to be more consistent in front of the opponent’s goal. Plus, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physicality and high intensity of Premier League football.
We can expect Ramos to enhance the quality of Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is good enough to compete with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah for a regular starting spot at the Emirates Stadium.
