Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are about to premier league star sign Oleksander Zinchenko from Manchester City, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail have reported that Zinchenko will complete his move from Manchester City to Arsenal at the start of this week.
Arsenal will reportedly pay Premier League champions City £35 million in transfer fees for the Ukraine international, who can operate as a left-back and in midfield.
The report has added that Zinchenko will become Arsenal’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window following the arrivals of Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Gabriel Jesus.
ZINCHENKO WOULD BE A BIG SIGNING FOR ARSENAL
In our view, Oleksandr Zinchenko would be a big signing for Arsenal and would make the Gunners better.
The 25-year-old is a serial winner, having won the Premier League title four times, the EFL Cup on four occasions, and the FA Cup once.
The Ukrainian can play at left-back and in midfield, which means that Mikel Arteta would essentially get two players for the price of one.
Zinchenko is likely to play regularly in midfield for the Gunners, but when Kieran Tierney is unavailable, he could slot in at left-back for the North London club.
