Arsenal

Another big injury blow for Arteta as £60m-rated Arsenal player who is confirmed earlier to be back for Brentford game is now ruled out until next month due to knee injury

Arsenal midfielder will not be back in action until next month, according to a report.

With the Gunners returning to Premier League action this weekend, football.london has taken a look at the club’s current fitness situation.

Smith Rowe is currently out with a knee issue and, according to the outlet, won’t be available until December.

The Gunners academy graduate made his first Premier League start of the season in the 5-0 win over Sheffield United.

However, Smith Rowe has been out of action since. He has missed out on the games against West Ham, Newcastle, Sevilla and Burnley.

“It’s a big blow because he was getting some momentum and some minutes,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said to the club’s media team ahead of the Newcastle match.

“And we’d started to get the Emile that we needed, but unfortunately he’s going to be out again.”

Arsenal are in Saturday evening action this weekend, playing away at Brentford in a 5:30pm GMT kickoff.

Arsenal ace Emile Smith Rowe enduring difficult spell
It’s such a shame to see Smith Rowe suffer another big setback just as he had finally managed to work his way back into the starting XI.

It has been an incredibly frustrating year for the 23-year-old, who has gone from being Arsenal’s next big Hale End graduate after Bukayo Saka to potentially fearing for his Gunners future.

Back in summer, 90min claimed that the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa wanted to sign Smith Rowe.

The Hale End graduate was seemingly happy to stay and fight for his place. However, that may not remain the case if he continues to struggle for minutes.

In October, TEAMtalk reported that West Ham want Smith Rowe – rated at £60million – if he becomes available. Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks as we approach transfer season.
