The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal are interested in signing Italy international midfielder Locatelli from Juventus.
The former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners are now reportedly willing to sell the 25-year-old to Arsenal and have identified Chelsea midfielder Kovacic as a potential replacement.
Locatelli is technically on loan at Juventus from Italian rivals Sassuolo, but the Bianconeri have an obligation to make the deal permanent for the £91,000-a-week (SalarySport) star in the summer of 2023.

In our view, that Juventus are reportedly willing to cash in on Manuel Locatelli in the summer transfer window is very encouraging for Arsenal.
Now, of course, the Gunners will have to pay a decent transfer fee, but at least they now know that Juve are willing to sell the midfielder.
Locatelli is one of the best midfielders in Italy.
The midfielder is dynamic, can hold his own in the middle of the park, and can drive his team forward.
And he is only 25.
