Dominic Solanke has been linked with a move to Arsenal as of late.
The Bournemouth striker has been in fantastic form this season, and, understandably, Arsenal are looking at bringing him in to bolster their attack.
However, as you can imagine, Bournemouth aren’t too keen to lose their most important player halfway through a season, and speaking on the Chasing Green Arrows YouTube channel, Dean Jones has claimed that the Cherries are not open to selling the 26-year-old.
Jones says that Bournemouth absolutely will not sell Solanke this month, stating that someone close to the club has told him he wouldn’t be for sale even for £90m.

Jones shared what he knows about the striker.
“He’s going to be linked with a transfer this month, there’s no doubt he will be linked with a few clubs, but I spoke to someone close to Bournemouth the other day and they said that they absolutely will not sell him, there’s no chance of Solanke moving in this transfer window, they just wouldn’t do it, even if someone put £90m on the table it would totally mess them up,” Jones said.
Too much
Arsenal could go and test Bournemouth’s resolve by offering something close to that £90m figure that Jones mentions, but we can’t recommend that as a potential signing.
Solanke is a very good player, there’s no doubt about that, but, at the same time, he’s only had a three month purple patch in the Premier League, and paying £90m for a player like that would be a huge risk.
As the old saying goes, there are plenty more fish in the sea, and Arsenal may be best off looking elsewhere if they’re genuinely keen to bolster their attacking options this month.
It’s certainly worth keeping an eye on Arsenal in the attacking market in the coming weeks.
