Arsenal approach Real Madrid with £60m transfer ‘offer’ for another young player who’s ready to follow Ødegaard’s footsteps to Emirates
Arsenal have reportedly made a substantial bid for Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz.
According to Spanish newspaper Nacional (via Football 365), the Gunners have offered €70 million (£60 million) for the Moroccan international.
Real president Florentino Perez must decide before the summer transfer deadline whether to sell or keep him.

Arsenal are “interested” in Diaz, who played for Manchester City when Mikel Arteta was still at the club, after his recent performances in La Liga.
The expected signing of Kylian Mbappe by Real will make it even more difficult for the 24-year-old to find a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Therefore, Diaz will “consider packing his bags” as Arsenal will be “on the auction block” for his signature when the transfer window reopens.
It is logical that the Gunners would choose to transfer a player like Diaz, who can play in multiple attacking positions. Arteta is a big fan of versatility, as proven by the signings of players like Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
