‘Arsenal is not my home anymore’: Another Arsenal star player have rejected the new contract offer as he is set to depart soon – huge loose for Arteta

The Scottish Star will leave Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal amid interest from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

The Times have reported that Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Scotland international left-back is “set to depart” Arsenal in the summer transfer window “after holding talks with the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta”.

The Times have claimed that Newcastle remain “the expected destination” for the 25-year-old, but Villa manager Unai Emery is personally keen on bringing him to Villa Park.

Emery worked with Tierney – described as “a top-level player” by former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore in May 2023 – when he was in charge of Arsenal.

Kieran Tierney should leave Arsenal

In our view, Kieran Tierney should leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window, whether it be for Newcastle United or Aston Villa.

The left-back is one of the best around and is claimed to be good enough to play for Manchester City, but it is clear that he is not the number one in his position at the Gunners.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is the first-choice left-back at Arsenal, and that is not going to change anytime soon.

The 25-year-old made six starts and 21 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.

Tierney gave one assist in those games.

The former Celtic star scored one goal in six UEFA Europa League matches, played twice in the FA Cup, and appeared in the Carabao Cup for Arsenal once this season.
