Arsenal attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira has told The Athletic that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are an “amazing” team.
Vieira, who joined Arsenal from FC Porto in the summer transfer window, played against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League last season.
The 22-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder was impressed by Liverpool.
Vieira told The Athletic: “We played Liverpool last season, so I had a taste of the Premier League. It was a different challenge, in the Champions League, against an amazing team.
Liverpool and Manchester City are the two best teams in the Premier League, and the title race will be hotly contested between these two sides again next season.
City won the league title last season, but we know that Liverpool pushed them hard.
Fabio Vieira played against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, and his admiration of the Reds shows just impressive the Reds are.
As for Arsenal, the Gunners will be aiming to finish in the Premier League top four next season.
Mikel Arteta’s side missed out on the final Champions League spot in the Premier League table last season to bitter North London clubs Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal will be determined to do better next season, and attacking midfielder Vieira could play a big role.
