Arteta to make 8 changes, £27m star set to keep his place: Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham

As Arsenal prepare to maintain their dominance at the top of the Premier League table against Tottenham Hotspur, HITC Football have had go at calling their predicted lineup for the North London Derby.

After Mikel Arteta and Co. convincingly beat Oxford United 3-0 in the FA Cup, we expect the highly-rated tactician to make as many as 8 changes for the upcoming cracker of a contest.

ARSENAL PREDICTED LINEUP VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

In goal, Matt Turner will make way for Aaron Ramsdale, who is the club’s No.1.

At right-back, Takehiro Tomiyasu is expected to be benched for Ben White.

William Saliba is set to replace Rob Holding in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Tottenham, with Gabriel Magalhaes, who continues to impress since joining the club for £27 million (Sky Sports) in 2020 retaining his place.

Kieran Tierney, who was seen as the weak link by Oxford United before the FA Cup tie (The Telegraph) is also likely to be displaced by Oleksandr Zinchenko in the North London Derby.

Despite Mohamed Elneny opening the scoring against Oxford, the in-form Thomas Partey is almost guaranteed to start against Tottenham.

After a disappointing display by Albert Sambi Lokonga in the FA Cup, Granit Xhaka has even more reason to return to the fold.

Unfortunately for Fabio Vieira, an excellent outing against Oxford may not be enough for him to keep Martin Odegaard out of the side in our Arsenal predicted lineup against Tottenham Hotspur.

The front 3 is set to remain unchanged, with Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli seemingly bang on to start against Antonio Conte’s side.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli.

Ultimately, the pressure is on the visitors at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, as Manchester City could bridge the gap to a measly 2 points if they beat Manchester United on Saturday.
