‘BECAUSE OF THIS’: Carragher says Arsenal will never do business with one club again because of 26-year-old

Speaking on The Overlap, Jamie Carragher has been discussing Oleksandr Zinchenko’s impact at Arsenal and the decision to sign him from Manchester City in the summer.

Zinchenko joined Arsenal over the summer in a deal that has proven to be one of the signings of the season so far, and his arrival at Arsenal has proven to be vital in the title race.

Carragher believes that City will be massively regretting selling Zinchenko to Arsenal at this point, so much so that he believes that Pep Guardiola’s side may decide to never sell another player to Arsenal off the back of this deal.

NO MORE BUSINESS BETWEEN CITY AND ARSENAL

Carragher discussed this transfer and the ramifications.

“I just want to ask about Zinchenko. He’s been a revelation for you this season, but I don’t think Pep Guardiola and Man City will ever sell a player to Arsenal ever again. I reason I think they sold him is because his mate was at Arsenal and he didn’t see Arsenal as a threat, is that fair?” Carragher said.

NO MORE SALES

It remains to be seen if City do decide to sell any more players to Arsenal, but, in all honesty, they would be wise not to.

Indeed, it’s not only Zinchenko that is having a massive impact at Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus is also proving to be one of the Gunners’ best players this season.

If Manchester City are to lose this title race, they may only have themselves to blame as selling Jesus and Zinchenko could eventually prove to be fatal errors.
