‘Because they won against small PSV doesn’t guaranteed that, watch how they will disgrace them’: Harry Kane tells Thierry Henry who will win between Arsenal & Tottenham on Sunday

Harry Kane has told Thierry Henry that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday at the Emirates.

For the first time in a very long time, Tottenham go into this fixture without their club-record goalscorer leading the line.

It is Harry Kane who is the top scorer of all-time in this fixture with 14, but now, the Bayern Munich star is going to have to watch the game from afar.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham are unbeaten after five Premier League games, which just adds spice to proceedings, with Kane acknowledging that his former team have ‘started the season well’, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (20/09/23 at 10:20 pm).

Not only do Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates in-form, but their fans know that Ange Postecoglou will get in the faces of Arsenal and play on the front foot.

It has been a long time since a Tottenham manager did that, so as NLD typically dish out, expect goals galore.

Harry Kane predicts Arsenal v Tottenham
“Since you are wearing red and white, you know what’s happening at the weekend, I know you know, don’t pretend that you don’t,” said Henry. “Who do you think will win?”

Kane responded: “Of course, Tottenham. They have started the season well. It should be a great game. I will give you a text after the game.”

Henry added: “Okay, okay. Let’s talk. We’ll see.”

Arsenal are the favourites
Given that the game is being played at the Emirates, then it does make the home side favourites because Spurs’ record isn’t exactly great away from home in this fixture.

Plus, this crop of Arsenal players did the double over Tottenham last season, so that will surely provide them with that added confidence.

Either way, given how both teams are playing and will play, then you can rule out a 0-0 right from the off, that’s for sure.
