Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now being linked with Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
According to Football Transfers, Arsenal want to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Arsenal have “expressed interest” in the Georgia inernational winger Kvaratskhelia.
The Gunners reportedly believe that their good relationship with Napoli’s new sporting director, Mauro Meluso, will help them get the 22-year-old.
Football Transfers has added that with striker Victor Osimhen now looking likely to stay at Napoli, the Serie A champions could be open to cashing in on Kvaratskhelia this summer.
However, Arsenal could reportedly have to pay a club-record fee to convince Napoli to sell the winger, who, according to former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher on CBS Sports in March 2023, is “the most exciting player in Europe”.
ANSA reported last week that Napoli plan to extend Kvaratskhelia’s contract by another year to 2028 and double his salary.
Newcastle United have also been linked with the Georgian star.

The winger is one of the best young players around, and he is only 22.
Kvaratskhelia was brilliant for Napoli last season, and there is every reason to believe that he would continue to play well in the coming years and would develop even more.
The 22-year-old made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Napoli last season.
The winger scored 12 goals and gave 10 assists in those matches.
Napoli won the Serie A title last season.
Kvaratskhelia also scored two goals and gave four assists in nine UEFA Champions League matches for the Naples outfit last season.
