As the summer transfer window inches closer and closer, pundit Kenny Cunningham has strongly suggested Arsenal to sign Moises Caicedo.

The 21-year-old has been a revelation since joining the Seagulls, as he continues to prove himself as one of the Premier League’s most well-rounded midfielders
A tank defensively, who is blessed athletically and has enough in store technically to make him suit a progressive side, Caicedo really has it all.
Ahead of the summer, pundit Kenny Cunningham has advised Arsenal to keep Moises Caicedo in their transfer plans once again.
“[Moises] Caicedo is the one for me at Brighton. I think they’re all going to be chasing him in the summer”, he said on OffTheBall.
“I think he improves Chelsea, he improves Liverpool and he improves Arsenal in there he’s a better option than [Granit] Xhaka for me alongside [Thomas] Partey, he’s a player who would give balance and that’s what I’m talking about.”
Our View: Declan Rice, not Moises Caicedo is the superior option
Unless you have been living under a rock, Declan Rice’s reported interested in joining the Gunners and vice-versa has been constantly in the news.
And while pundit Kenny Cunningham is right about Moises Caicedo potentially being a cracking transfer for Arsenal, Declan Rice would perhaps even be an upgrade.
Rice’s incredible ball-carrying ability, one-of-a-kind ball-winning ability and skillset both deeper and further forward could take Mikel Arteta’s side to another level.
So much so that Thomas Partey and the England international could dovetail between defensive midfield and in a box-to-box role in a way that Moises Caicedo may be unable to at the same standard.
