BREAKING: 25-year-old wants to join Manchester United but his club are blocking Old Trafford move
Manchester United want Justin Bijlow but Feyenoord have indicated that they have no intention of losing their star goalkeeper.
Dutch football magazine Voetbal International report that United have wanted Bijlow for months now.
John Murtough is understood to have made contact with Feyenoord counterpart Dennis te Kloese, communicating United’s interest.
Bijlow is understood to be interested in making the move to Old Trafford, considering United to be one of the biggest clubs in the world.
However, Feyenoord have no intention of losing Bijlow and have told United to forget about a deal.
Erik ten Hag’s men are expected to make a ‘serious attempt’ to sign Bijlow anyway, seemingly undeterred by Feyenoord’s stance.
Feyenoord are even pushing Bijlow to sign a new contract and are in talks with agent Ali Dursun to try and thrash out an agreement.
Bijlow doesn’t plan to force a move to United and will remain professional, but he is a name to keep close tabs on if Andre Onana doesn’t move to Old Trafford.

Feyenoord understandably don’t want to lose key players.
Arne Slot lost Marcos Senesi, Luis Sinisterra, Fredrik Aursnes and, of course, Manchester United left back Tyrell Malacia last summer.
Feyenoord still won the Eredivisie title but could lose players again with captain Orkun Kokcu already gone whilst David Hancko, Lutsharel Geertruida and Santiago Gimenez are wanted.
Losing Bijlow would really hurt Feyenoord and they are understandably taking a strong stance on his future at De Kuip.
Bijlow is out of contract in 2025 though and if he doesn’t agree to that new contract, this may be the ideal time to sell.
The 25-year-old was born and bred in Rotterdam, coming up through the Feyenoord ranks from a young age.
This may feel like the right time for Bijlow to move on and take the next step in his career, with United left hoping that Feyenoord can be tempted into a sale.
